Sometimes I’m flummoxed by how WordPress seems to slightly adjust/change photos when they are uploaded. On flickr, shots are always sharpened when you upload them, and I’ve grown accustomed to that. On the WordPress blog, sometimes my shots end up soft, and sometimes sharp (like this one). Absolutely no processing whatsoever on this after it was scanned in…but it looks over-sharpened like flickr shots do sometimes. Oh well.
Just wanted to throw up a shot from around the Twin Cities that I took this summer. More to come.

Yeah, I have the same experience with WordPress; also sometimes get a weird white border on the left edge of my b&w images. Dunno know if it’s some odd miscommunication between WordPress software and scanned negs, or what…

I hate how WordPress does that sometimes too. softens images .. I find the best result in restricting what WordPress does in terms of resizing.
