Part three of the series on my 2009 trip to Anna Maria Island, FL comes to you from my lovely Mamiya C220 TLR (twin lens reflex). It was my first medium format film camera (Holga notwithstanding), and until the last few weeks, my only medium format camera. I have really loved medium format since I started shooting it. The clarity and detail you can get out of a 6×6 negative is really stunning. My favorite is Kodak Ektachrome E100G…it’s a really, really, great film in 120 (it is also very nice in 35mm, but it is my favorite only in medium format).
Tomorrow there will be more shots from the Mamiya C220, from this trip. I hope you like them!
